"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

William Shakespeare (1564-1616) Hamlet

Photos from the incredible aurora event of 5 November 2001!

Taken about 11 pm EST from Hamlin Lake, Michigan, all photos are looking west out over the lake. Another very bright red aurora in the northeast, but the bright moon made it difficult to photograph. Also, several green rays seem to originate from overhead and formed a star-like pattern at this "radiant." Check out the gallery at SpaceWeather.com for more info on this event.
